Kickers SC College Placement Information

The Kickers S.C have added the position of College Recruitment Officer to aid our players in the pursuit of playing soccer at the college level. He is Andy Franklin and is currently employed as a counselor at Kaneland High School. Andy will draw upon his experience to guide any player in their search for a college that will be the best fit for them. There are many lesser known colleges through out the country that are looking for players in all sports to field competitive teams. You do need to be realistic in your expectations, Duke University doesn't have a spot for you on their basketball team unless you are an All-American athlete. However, Barton College, also in North Carolina, is a Division 2 school that also has a basketball program and may offer scholarships as well. it does pay to do your homework. There is a lot of work left for the athlete as well as the parents, but in the end if you can obtain a college education without going deep in debt, playing a spot you love, your starting off on the right foot.
